How to Use Unsweetened Whole Greek Yogurt

Feeding Littles | We love using unsweetened whole Greek yogurt to add some extra protein to meal time. Try these ideas for yourself or your baby, toddler, or kids of all ages for a more filling and balanced meal.

Need a little extra protein?

We love using unsweetened whole Greek yogurt! The possibilities are endless! One of our favorite brands is Maple Hill Creamery because of its creamy, smooth texture. (As always, this post is not sponsored - we just enjoy their products!)

Here are some of our favorite ways to use it:
  • Add a few tablespoons (to taste) to pasta and marinara sauce or stir into mac and cheese for a creamier pasta.
  • Serve atop oatmeal with a drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  • Blend with mango, pineapple, and banana (can add sweetener to taste) and pour into popsicle molds.
  • Add peanut, almond, or sunflower seed butter to create a fruit dip.
  • Combine with cucumber, garlic, dill, lemon, salt and pepper to make a tzatziki (cucumber yogurt dip) for veggies.
  • Use it as a sour cream substitute in recipes.

Note: It's Important that you buy unsweetened/unflavored Greek yogurt if using it in savory dishes or as a sour cream replacement.
